England ground out a 1-0 victory over Paraguay and got the three points and I'm grateful for that, especially given the apparent bias of the referee (the Argentian poet who refereed Germany v. I can't believe that the poor second half was down to the heat apparently. You have to ask why is Walcott there when he can't be risked? Why is Lennon there when he can't be brought on for Beckham who was clearly out of puff second half? Whither Jenas? Its bizarre not to have taken both Bent and Judas ahead of Walcott and Jenas.
I still think we've got a good chance of winning but despite Sven not because of him.
