Semedo signs
Portugues under 21 defender Jose Semedo has signed for Charlton. This is a free transfer from Sporting Club of Portugal.
He shares my birthday of 11th January, but 1985 not 1947. Perhaps I'll sponsor him. Sorry, I'd forgotten. The club hasn't decided what to do about player sponsorship.

Wyn: Glad you got this news out. Seems the official site still siezes up when more than 3 people are on it.
I heard rumours of this a few weeks back, so looked out for him during the U21 Euro Championships, and I thought he looked a bit ropey! Hope I'm wrong. Totally agree about the official site, its a nightmare!
