Premiership back Addicks on court move

The Premier League have backed Charlton over their threat to take the FA to court if necessary over the doubling of the ban imposed on Osei Sankofa after the Addicks appealed against his dismissal at Arsenal. The Premiership are never sorry to find an excuse to mix it with the FA, but the fact that top match officials have also said that Charlton's appeal was not frivolous is more significant.
