Luke Young called up for England

Luke Young has been called up to join the England squad:

He should have been there in the first place.

As one of very few competent English right fullbacks ue should be in every squad. McClaren obviously disagrees and won't actually select him of course he'll prefer to play one of s core players out of position, just as he won't put Gareth Barry in at left back, the likes of Phil Neville, Owen Hargreaves and Jame Carragher will be asked to ill unfamiliar roles. None of which will be remotely surprising and will ultimately cost England qualification.

HA HA HA HA HA' if were going down the road of crap right backs why noy have Nicky Hunt in there as well!!!!!! Fact Jamie Carragher and Owen Hargreaves are better footballers and defenders than Luke Young.
Get your Charlton glasses off and realise that the majority of the goals you concede are because of Luke Young.

A pretty ridiculous comment. Owen Hargreaves is a good footballer but he is not a right back. And I certainly wouldn't blame Luke Young for any conceded goals.

If you've seen Hargreaves play then you know he's a naturally talented player, does a better job anywhere in the park than Luke Young does at right back, get your rose tinted glasses off.
And not blaming him for conceded goals? He's your bloody right back, it's his job!

How embrarassing ! Arrogance and ignorance. Given that combination, one would almost think it comes from...well what a surprise... the USA.

I'm English you knob, and we get better coverage of the Premiership out here than you do, get over yourself, unlike Darren Bent who I rate highly, Young doesn't have it, When Bent is fit I think he's one of Englands top four strikers, the same can't be said for Luke young in the Right back position.
Wipe the tears away boys and just deal with the fact that not everyone agree's with you.

Englishman ? Well I never...who do you mean by "We" and "Out here?" then ?

And hearty congratulations on having better premiership coverage, by the way.

Wyn, can I report an offensive mail to the moderator?

Yank coverage of the Premiership is obviously so good that Mr G's Double hasn't noticed Luke Young's absence through injury!

My goodness have I offended the Charlton massive? Blimey you poor chaps, anyone with a different opinion is an outcast huh, you poor poor old men, how can I make up for it? Can I say that I think Darren Ambrose is a quality player? Does that help? My point is, Luke Young isn't good enough! Did I say Charlton are crap? With a crap manager?.
If i'm honest I think everyone around the league is surprised that you are in a situation like this, I think Pardew is a quality manager, when I was at the F.A. Cup final I thought and so did alot of Liverpool fan's that Pardew had got his tactic's spot on, West Ham's loss if definitly your gain.
Now that i've praised you, can you see the point i'm trying to make? Good side, good manager, good players, fragile right back!
